Malik Flays Muslim World For Silence
Comparing
Kashmir to Palestine, the chairman of the JKLF, Muhammad Yasin Malik, on Monday
said that Arab and Islamic nations had failed to ensure the safety and security
of Muslims. “By their silence and patronage, countries championing the cause of
humanity and democracy have become partners in the extermination of
human-beings,” Malik said, while paying tribute to the Aali Kadal martyrs,
including Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Jameel Ahmad Chaudhary,
Fayyaz Ahmad Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmad Kotay, Manzoor Ahmad Khan and Ghulam Ahmad. “World
governments are turning increasingly oppressive, and people across globe are
falling victim to their brutal statecraft,” he said.
“Hundreds of thousands of people in Kashmir
have fallen prey to state-sponsored violence for demanding their rights, and
this is continuing even today,” he said. “Today, before the wide open eyes
of the world, Israeli statecraft is perpetrating a bloodbath of Palestinian
women, children and the sick and suffering. Even the most hard of heart weep
tears on seeing the Palestinians being quartered so mercilessly,” he said.
“Watching it all
mutely, the world, including Europe and America, are encouraging Israeli
terrorism, and becoming partners in this unwarranted killing of human beings by
their silence and patronage,” he said. “It is absurd to expect people to remain
peaceful when their children are being blown up with bombs and missiles,” he
said. “Thus, this Israeli terrorism can
only lead to further violence,” he said.
Coming
down heavily on the silence of Arab and Islamic states, Malik said that
non-state actors take to the field once rulers fail in their duty to safeguard
the lives of other Muslims, creating more anarchy. “The blood of innocent
Palestinian children is today smeared across the face of humanity, crying for
it to die of shame,” he said. “If the US, Europe and other world powers want
global peace and stability and an end to violence, they should ensure the end
of state oppression in regions like Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine,” he said. “Nothing
can save the world otherwise,” he said
