Centre misleading nation on Chinese incursion row: RSS

Jammu Tawi, May 7
Accusing the Congress-led UPA government of misleading the nation on Chinese incursion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today alleged that the central government was befooling the masses by claiming that the issue of incursion in Ladakh had been resolved "without striking any deal with China". "Incursion row has been settled under an agreement with the China government but the UPA government is befooling the masses. It (government) is making false and hollow claims that the China has agreed to restore status quo along Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh as it existed prior to April 15," Indersh Kumar, national convener of RSS told reporters at the sidelines of a two-day-long seminar organised Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) here.
The RSS leader said the country was being misled by the government and the China should be answered in a "stronger way" as the India was capable of tackling with it. "Unfortunately the UPA government has clandestinely resolved the issue by striking a deal," he said, adding that the China should be asked that it has no right over the Mansarovar Lake besides should be pressurized to return back the area of Tibet to India which it has still illegally occupied due to India's worst foreign policy.
On a question about Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde's "Hindu Terrorism" remark, the RSS leader described it as "unpardonable sin" and remarked, "India is also known as Hindustan and if everyone who lives in India is a Indian then simultaneously they are also Hindus." He further lashed out at the UPA government for allegedly changing the modus operandi of agencies saying "instead of focusing on the security of masses and safeguarding them from untoward incidents and nefarious designs of the militants, they (agencies) have been used to probe their own people and harassing the nationalists".
