Pak resolution exposes Kashmir political
nexus: Dr Jitendra
JAMMU,
Mar 15: State BJP spokesman Dr Jatindra Singh today said that Pakistan National Assembly
resolution on Afzal Guru has clearly exposed the dubious nexus shared by the
ruling National Conference and PDP with the Kashmir
separatists and the Government of Pakistan. Talking to media persons at
the party headquarters here, he alleged that both NC and PDP were working under
the diktats of Pak-sponsored separatists and that is why they speak exactly the
same language which the Government of Pakistan and ISI want them to speak. “It is not a simple coincidence that on a
day when Pakistan violated all norms of international diplomatic conduct by
bringing in a resolution which directly targets the inner sovereignty of
republic of India, the Chief Minister of J&K was caught avoiding to
discharge his constitutional and moral obligation to pay homage to slain CRPF
Jawans because he apprehended that this could annoy the separatists and provide
an issue to PDP,” the BJP leaders said.
Questioning the
NC demand for revocation of AFSPA at a time when military and para-military
personnel are being repeatedly targeted by Pak sponsored militants, Dr Jitendra
Singh said if the Chief Minister and other leaders are genuinely convinced
about improvement in security scenario, they should first set an example by
surrendering their personal Z-category NSG security.
Dr
Jitendra Singh also raised a question mark on the silence of Congress party
which is a coalition partner in J&K Government. BJP leader Bali Bhagat, who
was also present in the press conference, condemned yesterday’s brutal lathi
charge on the peacefully agitating party activists, including MLAs and women.
He also demanded a high level inquiry to fix the responsibility against the
erring police officials
