Nawaz Sharif vows to resolve Kashmir dispute if voted to power
According
to the Daily Times, PML-N workers of Mardan, Malakand, Swabi, Nowshera and
other areas attended the meeting in large numbers. Nawaz said that when he was
in power the country was on the way to progress and development, and had he
remained in power the situation in the country would have been different. He
said that when he was in power the Pakistani currency and economy were stronger
than that of India , and Pakistan was
considered a more developed country than its counterpart. Nawaz said that the Punjab government provided free treatment to the poor
kidney patients and also gave houses to the poor people and free laptops to the
students.
According
to the report, he added that the PPP has been in power for the last five years
in Centre and three provinces, but it failed to provide relief to the people.
He added that
Zardari and his allies have taken the country to the edge of destruction, the
report added.
