PaK PM hands allotment letter of flats to migrant Kashmiris

Muzaffarabad, Dec 12: Ahead of Hurriyat (M) delegation’s visit to Pakistan, Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) Prime Minister Choudhary Abdul Majeed Wednesday handed over allotment letters of residential plots to Kashmiri migrants, who had crossed over Line of Control (LoC) after eruption of militancy in Jammu and Kashmir in 1989. The residential plots would be provided to those Kashmiri families, who crossed LoC in 1990s. The Thota Housing Society is situated some 20 kms away from Muzaffarabad on the bank of River Jehlum.
Majeed handed over allotment letters to Kashmiri families in Government Ali Akbar Awan Boys High School Chatter today. The Kashmiri refugees, who were given residential plots, belong to North Kashmir district of Kupwara and Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion, Majeed said the PaK government was committed to noble cause of people of Jammu and Kashmir. “We will continue to support the struggle of the people of J&K”. He said the PaK government will do everything possible to rehabilitate Kashmiri refugees, who have sacrificed everything for the struggle. “My government would strictly ensure implementation of the quota for Kashmiri refugees in government departments to provide more jobs to them. For permanent peace and security of South Asia, United Nations and international community should play active role in resolving the vexed Kashmir issue as per wishes of Kashmiri people,” PaK premier said.
He said people of Pakistan and PaK would never disappoint the people of J&K, who have rendered matchless sacrifices for right of self-determination. “If world is discussing Kashmir issue today, it is because of sacrifices of Kashmiri people”. Majeed said PaK government  would include Kashmiri refugees in Benazir Income Support Programme aimed at providing more financial support to refugees. “We would soon launch Green Cab Scheme to provide vehicles to unemployed youth of Kashmiri refugees so that they can earn honorable livelihood”.
